Looking for a comfortable bed as well as a cold beer?

Adventure Brew Hostel and B&B is one of only a handful of hostels in South America serving up great service as well as their very own micro-beer.

The accommodation itself is divided into two sections; the newly renovated main building dedicated solely to dorm beds, and 100m down the road, the B&B section focused on private rooms. Both shared and private bathrooms have hot gas-powered showers and are cleaned daily.

Guests staying in either the hostel or B&B are free to use all of Adventure Brew’s excellent facilities including free WiFi, a sunny rooftop terrace and glassed in courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen, computers, book exchange, towels, laundry service, free all you can eat pancake breakfast and a complementary beer for every night of your stay.

On the ground-floor of the hostel section is the fun and adventure themed ‘Venture Underground Bar,’ which has a pool table, TV and DVD player. In the B&B section, the bar is located on the rooftop which has great views over the city. Both bars serve the hostels micro-brewed Saya beer as well as international food and host nightly activities including pin-pong tournaments, salsa lessons, poker nights and BBQs.

La Paz Life Quick Tip:

As voted the best way to travel around Bolivia and Peru, we highly recommend choosing Bolivia Hop as your means of transport. Their safe, flexible and trustworthy service have proven to be the best way of getting the most out of your time in South America!

For those looking to take their beer experience one step further, Adventure Brew has a ‘Beer Spa’; an out-door spa, steaming with the brewery´s own beer. The spa is not only a fun experience but excellent for the skin also!

Travelers should note that Adventure Brew is not a party hostel, but an incredibly sociable place to meet other travelers, get a good nights sleep and enjoy a beer or two after a long day walking around La Paz.

Price: Double with private bathroom 180 Bs ($26 US) per room; 8 bed dorm 62 Bs ($9 US) per person; and 20 bed dorm 48 Bs ($7 US)

    Hey!

Just to let you know: this is not the only hostel with a brewery in South America at all! I have been to at least two others that had very fine craft beer brewed on premise.

    Cheers,
    Mike
